This man is extraordinary. I was lucky enough to spend a few days in his company at Akamasoa in Tananarivo, Madagascar. Father Pedro belongs to the Congregation of St Vincent de Paul He has created out of nothing several villages with the poorest people of the poorest country in the world. They use to work in a garbage dump. His obsession is to give them their dignity back. So he open a granite mine and started producing pavers and gravel for the building industry. This income added to the donations from around the world allowed him to build 6 villages. Every Sunday he conduct a mass that gather thousands of people. He has built schools, hospitals, houses, refuges for women and elderly. He feeds hundreds of kids every day. Check
